{Carefree} Using the Everyday Artisan Creative Components Kit

Lacey here with my final page for the month of May! Boy did this month fly right by! I used bits and pieces from both kits here but my focus was to use those Irresistible Die Cut Borders from the "Everyday Artisan" Creative Components Kit.   I used lots of mixed media on my background for a kind of tie dye look. I love the look of tone on tone with the use of the stencil.  To color my border strips I used the same colors but applied them with a wet method so the colors all ran together.  After everything was dry I decided I wanted to string the individual banner pieces onto some twine and I think it added something extra to the page. I popped some of the banners up on foam adhesive to give some added dimension.  To embellish further I added some of the colorful buttons from the "Kaleidoscope" Kit and finished it with a title word also from that kit.  Thank you for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you in some way! Please follow along on the  Faceb...
