{Not} Just for Boys Kit Club

Happy Mother's Day to all my scrappy moms! Today I am sharing my newest creation using the  "Kaleidoscope" Creative Components Kit.  I started with a clean white cardstock for my base and added lots of mixed media. To begin I used a stencil from a past kit and added some "Distress Oxide Inks" in the colors Blueprint Sketch and Carved Pumpkin blending them around the outside of the circle. I added some splatters of the blue as well.  Next I used the  "Scribbles, Splatters, & Stitches" 4x6 Stamp Set and stamped some of the stitching around the page. I cut my circle template out of printer paper and then cut it apart into sections. I used one of the sections to trace onto my photo and all the 6x8 patterned paper and hand cut them. After layering them together and adding them to the page I used some foam adhesive to pop up the side that overlapped the next piece.
