{Sunshine Rays for Days} Using the Summer Pastime Limitless Kit
Happy 4th of July Eve! I hope you all have big plans for the long holiday weekend and take lots of photos to capture the memories! Today I am here with my first layout of the month using the "Summer Pastime" Limitless Kit and Essentials Kit.
I chose to go with a little nostalgic feel to this one because I just absolutely fell in love with that record paper! I also love the VB frames and slides in this kit, you get so much bang for your buck with that pack!
I started with a white background paper and used a design I have used before where you fold over a corner of the paper onto itself. I didn't like the look of the "B" side to the record paper so that it looks like it's just folded. Then on the white cardstock I used the "Distress Oxide Spray" to add some mixed media to the background.
I used the frames around the photo and filled some with patterned paper and word strips from the sticker sheet. On the right side of my photo I made a little hidden journaling spot with a piece of the cut apart sheet and twin from the kit! I love that it tucks away behind my photo.
For the title I decided to go with a punch of color and use the big bold foam title stickers. These are fast coming one of my favorite new products from Simple Stories.
To finish it off I tucked in lots of little stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet. There were so many perfect ones, I had to limit myself!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you in some way! Please follow along on our Facebook page and share your projects using the following hashtags: #njfb #notjustforboyskitclub #summerpastimelimitlesskit (or whatever kit you are using!) Till next time, happy scrapping y'all!
