{Life Seaside} Using the Maritime Memories Creative Components Kit

Hey there scrappy friends! Lacey here with my newest page using the "Maritime Memories" Creative Components Kit. I absolutely love the cool blues and pops of red in this kit. I used some add on items from the shop for a perfect pairing. 

I started with a white cardstock base and added a strip of patterned paper from the "Cool Wood Grains" Collection Kit. I then used some of the fun post cards from the kit as layers and you would never know they were not patterned paper! Such a cool unique element. 

I also layered in the "Waves" Cardstock Cut that I slightly distressed with some colors of blue "Distress Oxide" Inks. and used a bunch of the rub-ons from the kit underneath  all the layers. 

To embellish I kept it small and only added in one small button from the kit and the large sand dollar wooden piece. I added another pop of red by tying it with some red twine. 

For the title I kept it simple and use some of the chipboard pieces from last months kit that were still laying around on my desk. I paired the life word with a tiny rub-on directly on the picture for a mixed font title.
