{Boardwalk Hoops} Using the "Happiest Carnival on Earth” Creative Components Kit

Happy Monday scrappy friends! Lacey here with a brand new kit and layout using the "Happiest Carnival on Earth" Creative Components Kit. I started this page on a solid white background and paper from the the new Simple Stories "Say Cheese Happiest Place" line as it matched so perfectly. 

I created a template with white cardstock and used it to cut each wedge of the circle out of patterned paper as well as black cardstock. I offset them each when I glued to the background. I used lots of layers and pieces from the cut apart sheet to build up some more layers on the page.

I used lots of ephemera from the kit and layered it with the blue and yellow tickets from the kit. I added some smaller embellishments from my stash and sprinkled them in with the ephemera. 

I popped up the yay banner to add more dimension and then used a black pen to add some doodling to the outside of the circle on the page. 

I used some older stickers from my stash to build my title and added it to the bottom quarter of the circle. I think the black is a nice added pop to tie in all the black I have included on the page.
