{Love You} Using the "Lovely Day" Creative Components Kit

Hey there scrappy friends! Lacey here to share a new layout I created LIVE over on the Facebook group last Wednesday. 

I used the latest "Lovely Day" Creative Components Kit and a cut little 6x6 paper pad from my stash to lift a layout I had in my saved files by @lisafonseca1985 over on Instagram. 

I started with a white cardstock base and added in some "Spun Sugar" Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil that was in the kit. I then placed all the hearts that I cut from the patterned paper inside the heart shaped design and trimmed accordingly. 

I colored my "Cardstock Cut" with a coordinating Distress Oxide Ink in "Speckled Egg". After coloring I backed it in patterned paper and popped up the two hearts. 

Putting the layout together from this point was quick work. I layered some doilies and a few pieces of ephemera from what was included in the kit. To finish it off I cut some of the trim into pieces and scattered it around the page. I love the added pop of teal it provides! 

I wanted to add a little something around the outside edge of my page so I attempted to draw with my pen but it was not working so well so I improvised and went with some washi tape instead. I think in the end it makes a nice boarder for the page.
