{Rainbow River} Using the Wild & Free Limitless Kit
Hi scrappy friends! Lacey here with my second layout using the "Wilde & Free" Limitless Kit and add ons for this month.
I got a bit messy with some mixed media for this one and used lots of splatters with "Distress Oxide Ink" as well as some of my favorite sprays from past kits. I went heavy with distressing my papers to add to that grungy feel and did lots of layers with folds and tears.
I kept the design of this one pretty simple and let the die cuts do most of the embellishing for me. I just love the distress look to the text on the die cuts as well.
I added used the ribbon trim that was included in the main kit to tie through my tag and also used some staples to hold the tails into place. I love that it was soft and flows but also is easy to distress and add more grunge when needed. The color was just perfect.
For my title I also dug into a past kit and grabbed these tiny alpha stickers that matched that ribbon and went with the kit so well.
To finish it off I added my date to another piece of ephemera and tucked it into the side of my tag. This was a fun page to make with all the layers and textures!
