{GO ADVENTURES AWAIT} USING THE SUNNY ESCAPES LIMITLESS KIT

 Happy Wednesday scrappy friends! Today I am back to share my layout from our LIVE scrap that took place last week in the Not Just For Boys Facebook group. I got messy and made a page full of mixed media using a technique I had seen recently on the internet I just had to try! It paired so perfectly with this month's "Sunny Escapes" Limitless Kit.

I started with a solid white cardstock and added some markings to map out where my paper and photos were going to land so I didn't hide all my mixed media in the end. I added a ton of color using some "Distress Oxide Inks" with a stencil from my stash in the color Saltwater Taffy. After that I used the Uncharted Mariner and created a splatter technique with dropping ink and my fingers. It was messy but so much fun! 

Once I got as many splatters as I liked on there I then added lots of stamping with black Archival ink and my "Scribbles, Splatters, & Stitches" stamps. These are out of stock at the moment but don't worry they are already on order and will be back in stock soon! 

I followed a sketch for my layout and I used lots of layers of papers and printed my 4 photos onto one 4x6 print to use. I also created some tags out of scrap Kraft cardstock and tucked them into my layers. 

I wanted to focus on using the second sticker sheet from the "Sunny Escapes" Essentials Kit on this page with a more muted tone and bring out the blue and black from the page. I used lots of stickers to embellish around the page and also as my main title. 

In addition to the sticker sheet I used the foam titles to add to my embellishment clusters and I love how they complement the colors of the layout. I picked some that went perfectly with the theme of my photos. 

As an afterthought I went in with my new "Sunny Escapes" 4x6 Stamp Set and used the tiny travel stamp and added it all over the background. I just love the added detail it brings. I finished with my date stamp and it is just perfect!
