{Ah... The Life of a Cat} Using the “Open Skies” Limitless & Essentials Kits

 

Hey there my scrappy "happy" friends!  It's so great to chat with you all again! I'm excited to share this single page lay-out with you! It captures the story of mom and I strolling the historic district of Plaka in Athens Greece and us finding the "Oh-so-sleepy' Cat lol!

Below is the page I'll be designing for you in my latest You Tube video ...using the gorgeous “Open Skies” kit! Here's the LINK  for the kits!

In the photo below you can see the tear I created along the upper left hand corner, curled it back to add texture  and then added some of the beautiful cardstock beneath it.  I love how it looks! I also added twine from the packaging to add texture!

Here I ... created a cluster in the bottom left of this photo of the sleepy cat! I added a frame from the ephemera pack included in the Limitless kit, and then backed the photo with adhesive foam backing to give it added dimension.  

In this photo.. I wanted to show how I printed my journaling on Vellum paper.  Easy to use, simply give it some extra time to dry! Then I created added texture by tearing the vellum along the bottom edge.  When gluing vellum, you just need to find "something" to attach it under, so the glue won't be visible. On this page  you can see I attached it under the edges of both photos!
