{Music Fest} Using the Melodies & Memories Limitless Kit
Hi scrappy friends! I have been away on vacation but I had lots of time to play with the "Melodies & Memories" Limitless Kit before I left! I made this fun grungy page using lots of elements from the "Essentials" Kit".
I just love those 49 & Market rub-ons! They are so smooth and easy to use. To begin I started with a solid white cardstock and added some mixed media to the background. Then after it was dry I used a black pen to draw some grid lines on the background to add some more interest to the page. I also put tiny dots at the end of some of the lines.
I then used some of the patterned paper to create a leaner design down the left side of my page on top of the mixed media. My photos were printed into a strip and I mounted them on top of the layers of patterned paper and pieces of acetate that I tucked in.
After having the larger elements of my page adhered I then went back and added the rub-ons in various places very haphazardly. I wasn't concerned if they were perfectly placed because it was going to fit right in with the grungy theme.
I used lots of the stickers from the sticker sheet in the main kit to add more musical elements to my page. As well as those star stickers that I scattered about.
For my title I mixed a sticker from the sticker sheet and the Thickers from the main kit. I love the look of the mixed font. I also added a few twiddles of tangled thread under the title as it also looks great with the grungy mix.
I love this page and all the color distress grunginess to it! I can't wait to continue to make more pages with this kit!
