{Happy Day} Using the "Keepin Cozy" Page Kit

Hello all, Nicole back with this card using the "Keepin Cozy" Page Kit.  It was pretty easy to create this card because I had all the scraps from my last project out on my desk.  I have been running low on handmade birthday cards so that's why I decided to make one.

The first thing that I did for my card was that I made the white base from card stock in my kit.  I cut it to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 for an A2 card.  I then cut the grey card stock 4 x 5 1/4 to sit on top.  I had a piece of this plaid patterned paper from the kit which I just loved and thought that it could definitely be used for a birthday.  I added a doily to the upper left of the grey cardstock and then popped up the plaid in the middle of the card.  I chose one of the ephemera pieces and just turned it upside down for the white circle and layered it on the plaid adding the blue filmstrip from the kit.

I fussy cut some florals from one of the other patterned papers and added them to the top left and bottom right of the circle.  I placed a blue ephemera banner piece on the white circle as well as the wood heart element, then I added my sentiment.  I splattered the card with some white paint from my stash as well as the Powder Puff Shimmerz from the Essentials Kit.  When dry I glued on some sequins.  Before adhering the grey cardstock down on the base I finished it with a tied bow right under the white circle.

Thanks so much for stopping by to read about my card.  I hope it gets you into the scrapping mood.  We would love to see whatever you are creating with our kits so please post to our {Not} Just for Boys Kit Club Community Facebook group and on Instagram with the following hashtags: #njfb #notjustforboyskitclub  #keepincozy (or whatever kit you are using).

Until next time,
Nicole
