{The Best} Using the Epic Page Kit

Hello, crafting friends!  Miss. Carrie here sharing some projects you can create with kits you've been collecting throughout the year. This is the perfect time to pull out those stashed away supplies and create something new.  Today, I have a page that I created with the Epic Kit.

If you were lucky enough to grab the Epic kit before it sold out, you know that it has some amazing components in it.  I used quite a few of the pieces to record a memory of our son kayaking on the lake.

The patterns in this kit are bright and summery, which was perfect for this page.  To prevent an overload of color, I just used a few strips on the page to highlight the photos.

I chose to use a neutral-colored title using layers of cardstock stickers from the collection. I felt like this color gave the page a more masculine feel.

When I create a page, I layered the stickers on die cuts in my clusters.  With thicker cardstock stickers, I often cut apart the images to prevent the page from being too thick.

The circle on this page was cut in half so that I could make it look like it was tucked under the photo. I was still able to create a nice cluster of elements without adding too much bulk to the page.

In each cluster, I try to use the same colors, shapes, and patterns to create visual triangles.  On the left side of the page, I duplicated the arrow, stars, frame, and circle shapes that are in the other clusters.

With most of the photos on the right side of the page, I filled the white space on the left with a large circular stencil image and splatters.   This bright yellow reminded me of a summer sun and created a great backdrop for the elements.

As I usually do, I tucked my journalling into a pocket.  The tag was cut from some yellow pattern paper and placed behind the photo.

To finish off the page, I backed it in a soft blue-green and added a little stitching to create a frame. I do not have a process video for this page, but if you have any questions feel free to comment below.
