{Epic Gamer} Using the Level Up Deluxe Theme Kit

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I’m posting my last page using the May 2021 kits. When I saw the Level Up kit I knew I had to have it! My kids are huge gamers and I love the papers & embellishments in this kit. My son saw the game controller patch and he wants one for himself, too!

I created the background using 2 6"x12” pieces of pattern paper, then layered my photo, title, and embellishments on top. I used a ton of stickers from the Echo Park Teen Spirit 12x12 sticker sheet and elements from the Teen Spirit Ephemera (an add-on this month).

I took the photo at night, with not a lot of great lighting. The picture is slightly fuzzy and a little yellow (from my kitchen lights). In order to make the photo stand out and solve the color quality issue, I used an app on my phone and changed the photo to black and white. I printed it slightly smaller than 4x6 inches and kept a white boarder. 

I added the game controller patch to the bottom right corner of my layout, and a star sticker below it. I love how this embellishment cluster turned out!
