{BOY MOM} using the "Marvelous" Deluxe Theme Kit

Hello!!! Jennifer here, sharing my first layout for April using the "Marvelous" Deluxe Theme Kit. This is a double 8 1/2x11 design layout.

When I saw this "Marvelous" Deluxe Theme Kit I knew I had the perfect photos for it. I loved Superman growing up, he was one of my favorites along with The Hulk. I loved when everyone started doing adoption themed super hero parties. I didn't do it at the time of my son's adoption but choose to do it later on. These photos were taken by me the week before Mother's Day. I decided this layout would be like a comic book. I love the way it turned out. It compliments another layout already in his album.

I started with the title piece. I sprayed it with Nuvo mist. I didn't really like it so I painted black with a sponge and black acrylic paint. Some of the nuvo is still showing. The mom word on the cutfile tore because it was too wet. So I cut it off and used the thickers instead. I liked it so in the end it was great.

I matted all my photos in white. The larger one is matted in yellow too. At this point I knew the layout was going to need something to make it pop. I painted the speech bubbles black and decided sequin shakers were going to be my pop.

Taking selfies with a 3 year old is so much fun...said no one ever. Nine photos on this layout. These are just the clear ones. This "Marvelous" kit is so much fun!  It's perfect for your little superhero photos. For the final touches I used black sequin stars placed randomly around the layout. Then I used the yellow acrylic star shooting and speech bubbles to complete the conversation.
