{Sleepy Boys} Layout with the "Debut" Premium Kit

Hello friends, I have a layout to share with you today using the "Debut" Premium Kit.  I think the colors and items in this kit can go with so many different photos, I had a great time choosing which photos to use with it.  This first layout is about how much I loved that my boys fell asleep in my arms while watching TV.

I chose the grey chevron paper as my background, because I wanted a lighter base for the layout, with pops of color in the embellishments and title.  To bring in a little more color, I decided to add a touch of the orange striped paper down the left hand side of the layout.

I matted my photo with the wood grain packaging from the Tags & Bags embellishment pack included in the "Debut" kit.  I really like the look of the various layers of ephemera, tags, and a little black lace from the trim pack add on.

I used the Just for Boys 4x6 Stamp Set Volume 1 to create the word "boys" in my title.  To complete this page, the last thing I did was splatter some of the Jen Hadfield Gold Mist and some black watercolor paint in a few areas.
