{Nerf Gun Dreams} Layout with the "Debut" Premium Kit

Hello again, I'm sharing a layout with the "Debut" Premium Kit today.  I only had one picture of my son with the Nerf water gun my mom bought him this summer.  And instead of a photo of him playing with it, he was sleeping with the gun, still in the box.

I started with the amazing grey and orange distressed paper to mat my whole layout.  Then used the diagonal striped paper to build up all of the layers.  I like getting the most I can from a kit, so I made sure to gut the orange and grey distressed paper before using it to mat the layout.

The "dreams" ephemera was perfect for this layout, so I simply added the words "Nerf Gun" with Thickers for a clever title of "Nerf Gun Dreams".  I like the way the orange and tan braided trim from the trim add on pack looked, I decided to burn the ends with a match to keep it from fraying.  

I punched hexagons from a hexi punch that I already own and added some of the Jen Hadfield gold mist in splatters to the corners of the layout.

I used the "Adventure" stamp set that comes in the Premium Kit to "build" the phrase "Everyday is an adventure".  I designed the stamps so that you can get many different phrases and titles from the one set.   This way, the stamp set can really stretch to be used on a variety of layouts.  This layout was fairly simple and came together pretty quick, so that's about all I have to say about it.  Thanks for stopping by today!  We would love to see what you've been creating with your "Debut" Premium Kit.  You can post to our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NotJustForBoysKitClub/ or on Instagram, be sure to tag #notjustforboyskitclub.
