{Autumn In NYC} Using The Urban Edge Limitless Kit

Hi scrappy friends! Lacey here with my final project for the month of September using the “Urban Edge” Limitless Kit with the add ons from the “Urban Edge” Essentials Kit.

I just love all the fall elements this essentials kit brings to the table so I paired it with some of our stamps from a previous release and the “Distress Oxide Ink” that we got to create a fun mixed media background page that just screams autumn.

I used my brayer to apply the Rusty Hinge ink that I mixed with a little bit of Antique Linen Distress Spritz. I then stamped the hexagon shapes with the stamp after my layers of ink had dried.

I used the ephemera pack for my main paper elements on the page outside of the mat for my photography. Besides using the floral pieces as they were I chose to use some of them in a new way by taking my hexagon punch and punching pieces of them out to create shapes to add to the background.

I also used the outline stamp for the black to stamp around each piece that I punched out of the ephemera. I think it makes them pop a little bit more.

I created a mixed font title using a word sticker from the 12 x 12 sticker sheet, some extra pieces from the ephemera pack in the main kit and the alphabet stickers that I colored with distress ink.

I used more ephemera and tucked it in and around my photo to fill out the page and I love the way it looks. Added a few of the leaves falling around and it was perfect! To finish it off I used some of the finishing touches pearls and scattered them around.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you in some way! Please follow along on our Facebook page and share your projects using the following hashtags: #njfb #notjustforboyskitclub #urbanedgelimitlesskit (or whatever kit you are using!) Till next time, happy scrapping y'all!
