Hey there my scrappy "happy" friends! It's so great to chat with you all again! I'm excited to share this next scrapbook page with you! You know, sometimes when I Scrapbook a lay-out it's more about describing what I'm feeling than about an actual story to tell! In this spread its-all-about "Sunshine & Rainbows" and... a dog named Ava!
When my mom turned 86 this past year, I said to her, "Mom, I hope I grow up to be just like you!" Those of you that watch my You Tube channel, know mom and I have had many fun adventures together!
After this walk in the park with Ava I said, "Ava, I hope I can grow up to be just like you, always looking at life as Sunshine and Rainbows!" Well, it'll certainly be the BEST of both worlds if I'm like my mom and Ava! What do you think? lol!
Below is the page I'll be designing for you in my latest You Tube video series...using the fabulous Woodland Explorer kit! Here's the LINK for the "Woodland Explorer" kits, if you want to check them out!
It was a beautiful Fall day here in North Georgia and my daughter and I decided to take a walk around the pond. I decided to make my journaling all-about Ava and her unbridled JOY for simply living LIFE!
In my title I tried to capture who Ava was lol! I used the Alphas from last weeks kit, along with the alphabet soup alphas from this months kit!
Oh, and I also filmed a bonus video for you all this month! In the video I share the photo sets I'll be using as well as the cardstock I've chosen from this months kit to go with my chosen photos! I can't wait to hear what you think, and if you enjoy it, I'll try and film them each month.
Here's the

Here's a fun tip for the Envelopes that come in the awesome ephemera package by 49andMarket! Use an X-acto knife and cut the V-shape in the envelope! It's a terrific place to insert ephemera, a photo or your journaling! Can't wait to see what you do with them!
This is my daughter Lauren and sweet Ava! With the scrapbook page being all about Ava, I found the word ephemera PERFECT! I chose three words to use on both pages. "Sweetest", "Curious" and "Adorable". I felt they helped to capture the essence of the story I was telling about Ava and tie the two pages together too! Oh and can we talk about the gorgeous frames that came in the Essentials kit!! Another 49andMarket jewel! I used three in this double page spread! They're such a terrific focal point on any page!
I have a video for this double page spread up on my You Tube channel! In this fun series, I film three separate videos for you, a month! In the first half of the video I design page one and then in the second half I share a reveal of page two that I've already created ahead of time! It's a fun reveal and I love seeing them come together side by side! As I share my techniques and thoughts on the second page, I also read aloud my journaling. Here's the
LINK if you'd like to watch!
