{Tamale Making Day} Using the Limoncello Sorbet Limitless Kit
Hello, crafting friends! It's Miss Carrie and I'm here with another scrapbook project for you to try. This lovely design was created with the amazing Limoncello Sorbet Limitless Kit. Today, I am going to share how I blended items from a seaside-themed kit with vibrant fiesta acrylics to create a layout of grandma making tamales.
The new Limoncello Sorbet beach-themed kit is brimming with lively patterns and prints ideal for vacation, poolside, or ocean memories. Regrettably, I don't possess any of these, so I had to get creative.
Many of you are in a similar situation. Wondering what to do with a ocean-themed kit when you lack seaside memories? Well, you can always make tamales! Or document the cherished memories of grandma preparing them.
I blended elements from the Limoncello Sorbet kit with vibrant Fiesta embellishments to create a heartwarming layout of grandma teaching the family to make tamales. This page beautifully captures a special memory and the addition of fiesta acrylics adds a unique touch to the story.
From the pattern paper collection, I chose an assortment of green hues from 49 & Market, American Crafts, and Pinkfresh. These do a great job of highlighting the photos and the patterns fit grandma's personality so well.
I selected a simple title and a pocket from the Pinkfresh journal pack. The pocket serves as an ideal spot for preserving grandma's tamale-making secrets.
From the beach-themed sticker page I snagged some of the lovely florals. I layered the bright flowers with the elements in the Fiesta embellishment pack and added phrase stickers that fit the narrative.
This page was designed to capture a special memory, which was beautifully brought to life using the Limoncello Sorbet kit. If you would like to see how it all came together, I have a short video on my YouTube channel.
