{You Color My World} Using the “Delight” Page Kit

Hello everyone! Jessica here, sharing another layout using the “Delight” Page kit/Essential kit and the “You Color My World” cardstock cut to document photos of my son having the time of his life on this yard train! I'm participating in the monthly challenge and using stamps galore on this one!

I started my layout by pulling out a sheet of plain white cardstock and various {Not} Just for Boys Kit Club stamps. I grabbed a few from my stash as well as my distress oxides. I also pulled out the beautiful background paper from the Delight kit by Simple Stories and I cut the middle out of it to just use it as a border on my page. I then backed my cutfile with it.

I then proceeded with lots of stamping on my background so it would peek out behind the cutfile and out around it. I absolutely love stamping and always so happy when I can use it on a page! I stamped in a bunch of distress oxide colors to match the colors of the paper such as peeled paint, mustard seed, saltwater taffy, candied apple and black soot.

I grabbed some embellishments from the essentials kit add on and added some embellishments and wooden red stars to this layout using the nuvo liquid glue from the shop. I also cut apart some packaging wordy bits from another kit and used those on this layout as part of the challenge!

I have a process video on my YouTubeChannel if you’d like to see how this came together!

Feel free to share your projects with this kit on our {Not} Just for Boys Kit Club Community Facebook group or Instagram using the #notjustforboyskitclub #njfb #delight(or whatever kit you are using) tags!

Thank you for joining me today and I hope I have inspired you to create something beautiful!
