{Awesome Food} Using the July 2021 "Oasis" Premium Kit

Hello friends!  It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this fun layout that I created as part of a Design Team Recipe Challenge.  I do so love these kind of challenges!  I'm using the "Oasis" Premium Kit to help me out.  My photos features my daughter and The Nick enjoying the best sammies ever from Cuppa Joe up in Traverse City.

You can see here that I created this layout with a fairly heavy hand at mixed media.  I used both Jen Hadfield Gold Glitter Mist as well as Shimmerz Boogie Boardin’ Blue for my background.  The smoosh technique as well as liberal splatty bits were both used to create different saturations of color.

Have y’all checked out the gorgeous Rosie’s Studio foam words in the A La Carte section of the store?  They are a must have!  I used the awesome word right on top of my photo and then layered diecuts, stickers and gems around that cluster.

This cluster has gorgeous ticket pieces, Heidi Swapp stickers, Rosie’s foam bits and gems.  I do love all of these different textures that we can achieve with layering!
