{Snips & Snails & Puppy Dog Tails} Using the April 2020 "Snips & Snails” Theme Kit

Hello friends!  This "Snips and Snails" Theme Kit collection was absolutely perfection for my subject on this month.  I adore the rich chocolate browns with the pop of white in the cut file!

Take a look at this adorable wood veneer that helped to tell the story of my pup hanging out with my son while he washed his truck.  The flair added the perfect textural element and drew your eye into the main cluster.

Dare I say how awesome it is that there was a little English Bulldog diecut included this month?  It is the perfect pop of blue underneath all of the rich warm tones.  I layered it up with a couple of scraps and an enamel dot for interest.

I loved that I was able to combine rich masculine colors with wood veneer, flair, enamel dots and a cutfile to tell this fun little story.  The diecuts are the perfect combination of frames, phrases and interesting little circles.  I hope that you like creating with it as much as I do!
