{This is Me} Using the My Story iNSD Mini Page Kit

Happy International Scrapbooking Day, crafting friends!  Today's layout is all about celebrating your memory-keeping hobby and it's totally dedicated to you! It's the perfect page for you to create with the My Story iNSD Mini Page Kit.

For the NJFB May Challenge, we had to make a layout showcasing ourselves. Despite feeling uneasy about it, I'm happy that I went through with it and I encourage you to do the same.

The layout is a diagonal page design with a camera pattern at the top and coffee rings at the base. I created the coffee rings using the lid of a plastic sequin container and some ink. Not only did I express my affection for coffee, but I also adorned the page with stamped images, florals, and stickers to highlight the other things that bring me joy in life.

The floral icons are made of pattern paper die-cut flowers and a mix of stickers. Within the flowers, I tucked stamped circle images, simple stories stickers, and sequins. After attaching the pieces to the page, I sanded them all with a sanding circle to achieve a more distressed appearance.

Below my photo, I added a journal card with stamped sentiments that my husband uses to describe me. You can use the Just for Boys stamp to create typeset phrases, and it comes with additional options you may find useful for a page like this.

The words used in the script came from the Bliss stamp set, which is currently unavailable in the shop. If you have previously purchased the Bliss collection, you may already have this particular stamp in your collection.

To match the script words on the journal card, I brought in a script title. This cardstock cut phrase describes my life to a tee.

I used watercolors to shade the cardstock cut and then embellished it with acrylic arrows. Above the title, I added a few additional images to complete the space.
