{Fun} Using the "Honeycomb" Page Kit
Hey all, Nicole here with my final project for the month featuring the "Honeycomb" Page Kit! I am documenting a pic at Radiator Springs in California Adventure from March this year. I thought the fun and sunny vibe of this kit would work perfect for this pic!
One of the first things that I did was cut down this wood grain paper to 10x10 inches. I then used a honeycomb stencil to add some interest to it. I tore it in two areas, then I added some Sunflower Shimmerz from the kit right where those tears are. I adheared it to a piece of white cardstock and stapled the torn edges down.
I then cut two circles of different patterned papers of two different sizes and popped them up off the background. I added a kite, sun, and some bees to this circle above.
I added my photo with the red grid paper as a mat to the bigger circle and embellished around here as well, using the ephemera from the kit, and one of the acrylic arrows.
Near my title I added this little bird with some flowers. I then added some gems, baubles, and sequins around my page.
Thanks so much for stopping in to read about my page, I hope it inspires you to get crafting with your kits! We would love to see whatever you are creating with our products so please post to the {Not} Just for Boys Kit Club Community Facebook group or on Instagram with the following hashtags: #njfb #notjustforboyskitclub #honeycomb (or whatever kit you are working with).
Until next month,
Nicole
