{Memorable Moments} Using the "Nostalgia" Limitless Kit

Hello, everyone! Miss. Carrie here with a lovely layout created for a wedding album using the new "Nostalgia" Limitless Kit.  This kit is full of so many fantastic components which you will enjoy using to record your memories. 

I chose this kit because it has lovely blue patterns and ephemera that were an ideal match for this photo.  Some of my favorite pieces were the distressed lace pattern paper, floral pieces, and wood grain pattern. 

This page was designed to be the left side of a layout where the second page features photos of the dress.  Since I cannot share that until after the wedding, I decided to keep it simple with some floral pieces, phrases, and a bold title. 

As I was designing the layout, I discovered that the ephemera pack only had one set of roses.  I debated on creating some three-dimensional florals but felt like this page called for a more subtle approach. 

Using a stamp set in my collection, I added some layers to the background with weathered wood ink.  These peek out from behind the elements and create such a lovely effect. 

Adding stamped images and splatters using a color of ink that mimics the background, made these images look like they were part of the pattern paper.  

I also used a stamp to create some random typesets below the title.  This created a nice grounding point and added more of the weathered wood color to the page. 

The title was created using Some Days blue puffy stickers and some die cuts from the "Nostalgia" kit.  The puffy letters are leftover from the No Limits Kit and are a perfect match to the dress she is wearing.  If you are interested, I have a process video for this page which you can view on my YouTube channel.
