{Kick Some Grass} using the Kick It kit
Hey crafters! Natalie here today using the new Kick It kit to do a double page spread of my son's soccer season.
I used a white cardstock base and a GIANT photo.
I added some ink blending through a hexagon stencil to mimic a soccer ball, and some white Nuvo through a square stencil to mimic a goal.
I backed the "Soccer Ball Border" cardstock cut with the Reminisce The Soccer Collection 2 "Splash" Paper.
I bordered the edges with the Photo Play MVP Soccer "Goalie" Paper and the back side of the "Splash" Paper by Reminisce.
I colored some Doodlebug from the previous "Brilliance" Limitless kit and used them for the title, "Kick Some Grass." I also added one of the cute "Kick It" charms to the bottom of the cardstock cut.
I finished off the page with a few sticker embellishments from the Reminisce "The Soccer Collection 2" 12x12 Sticker Sheet.
I made a companion page in a 9x12 pocket page. I loved using the "Kick It" kit to coordinate with my 12x12 layout.
I used a few 3x4 cards from the12x12 Photo Play MVP Soccer "Kick It Cards" Paper, and created a few of my own with the Photo Play MVP Soccer "Goalie" Paper.
The "Kick It" sequin mix stole the show on this layout! I filled a pocket with the mix and sewed it up.
My "Play" acrylic was split in half to make my title pocket. I adhered it with glossy accents.
I added a few journaling tags and called it complete.
I love having these sports memories documented.
I hope you're inspired to grab your own "Kick It" kit and document the world's favorite sport.
xo Natalie
