{Wild at Heart} Using the "Wild Child" Page Kit
Hello all, Nicole here with my second project for this month featuring the "Wild Child" Page Kit! This kit is just so adorable, I love it!
One of the first things I did was color this "wild at heart" wood veneer with some white acrylic by taking off the masking where I wanted it done and then uncovering the rest to get what I have above. I then made my paper triangles by measuring 8" for one and 4" for the other on two sides and then cut the diagonal. Before putting my triangles down I used some Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink with the stencil from the kit on this page.
I distressed my triangles, photo and photo mat. I then finished my paper piecing by adhering the triangles as well as my photo with mat down on the layout. I also used some of the striped paper from the kit to add a bit to my photo and the wood veneer as well.
To finish off my page I added stickers, the wood buttons, sequins, and navy finishing touches in 5 clusters around the page. I also added this banner sticker to the bottom of my photo. I added my journaling under my title and called my page done.
I have a process video for this page that you can view here: {Wild at Heart} 12x12 Scrapbooking Layout Process Video
Thank you so much for popping on to read about my layout, I hope that it gets you in the mood to create with your kits! We would love to see whatever you are making with our kits so please post to our {Not} Just for Boys Kit Club Community Facebook group and on Instagram with the following hashtags: #njfb #notjustforboyskitclub #wildchild (or whichever kit you are working with)!
Until next time,
