{Simply Love} Using the "Wild Child" page kit
Hello Everyone!!! Jennifer here sharing my second layout of August. I choose to work with the "Wild Child" Page Kit. This Simple Stories Boho Baby collection has my heart.
I first started with choosing photos. I found these two in my sons album waiting to be scrapbooked. My son is only 2 years old in this photo with his cousins. They all couldn't wait to meet the new baby. That baby is now 22 years old that's how long it took to find the perfect kit. 🥰
I wanted the stripe paper as the border frame. Then I used the cardstock as my main background. it needed a little help popping. I added Shimmerz paints to the background. I did a little package technique and splatters. I painted the cutfile title Simply Loved once attached I added white acrylic paint splatters. I cut the oval photo and added a mat in white. I double matted the larger photo in blue cardstock and white. I distressed the edges on the photo mats. They are popped up on foam too.
I added sequins all around and a few stickers in three places. I included the baby's name with the alphas from the kit. I used a stitching stamp from my stash to stamp around the layout edge. I distressed the cardstock edge before adding it to the stripe paper frame.
