{San Diego Seal Tour} Using the "Wild Child" Page Kit

Hello all! Today I'm using the "Wild Child" Page Kit to get me started with the first of my projects this month.  The August challenge in the group this month is a 2 page sketch designed by me:

As always I started my page with paper piecing.  I cut two strips from the alphas for my banner across the bottom and the yellow checkered paper for the main banner above.

I added some texture paste with the stencil that came with the kit in the areas on the sketch above and below the main picture areas.  Then I cut some of the other papers from the kit to make the little flags sticking out.

I then made some little clusters of embellishments with the little wood buttons, stickers, and some clear finishing touches.  I also added my journaling, a doodle border and my title.

Lastly I added this little cluster down by my horizontal picture to finish off this page!
