{Swim Lesson With Nana} Using the "Soak Up the Sun" Page Kit
Hello Everyone, Jennifer here sharing my second layout of June. This is a double 8 1/2x11 layout using {Soak Up the Sun} Page Kit by Meridy Twilling.
I started out the layout using this sunburst cutfile by Paige Evans. 9 times out of 10 I am going to color a cutfile. I used a Shimmerz spray and distress oxide. I didn't use gesso or anything just sprayed on the packaging and put it on the cutfile. The yellow cardstock under the cutfile has some distress oxide and white paint. I added enamel dots up the lines of the cutfile. Then I matted my photo on a couple of the cut aparts.
To tie in the right hand side. I used the chipboard frames from the alacarte section and a few chipboard pieces, plus the main title in the Pink Fresh letters. I tore the stripe paper and flipped it to use the backside too along the right side. A few white splatters and it was complete. I love this layout for my great nieces album of her Nana who is her great grandmother showing her how to swim.
