{Spring Vibes} Using the "Soak Up the Sun"
Hey fellow crafters, Nicole here with my first layout of the month. I'm using the "Soak Up the Sun" Page Kit to make this double paged layout with one side being a pocket page.
The first thing that I did was made the first 12x12 portion of my layout. I inked the yellow rays by using the cut that was included in the kit. Then I doodled the outside of them with a blue marker.
The next thing that I did was built up the layers behind my photo. I made a banner by punching circles in the red paper, cutting them in half, then placing on the paper next to each other. I used the Pinkfresh alphas included in my kit to make the title. Then I finsihed this page with journaling and "Soak Up the Sun" Sequins.
For the second page I decided to do a pocket page since I wanted to include many photos on it. I cut several different papers as well as one of the pocket cards from one of the patterned papers. I embellished with some of the little bits included in the kit as well as Echo Park Chipboard Frames.
Thank you so much for stopping in to read about my layout. I hope it inspires you to get creating with your kits! We would love to see anything that you do make so please post to our Facebook group: {Not} Just for Boys Kit Club Community and on Instagram with the following hashtags: #njfb #notjustforboyskitclub #soakupthesun (or whichever kit you are using).
Until next time,
Nicole
