{Merry} Using the “Merry” Deluxe Theme Kit

Hello my friends and welcome to a new month of fabulous kits! I made this great double page layout using pictures I never scrapped last Christmas. I’m loving the non-traditional Christmas colors in the “Merry” Deluxe Theme Kit.

I cut a 4 inch piece off of the blue plaid and used that as a strip on the right side page and the rest on the bottom of the left side. Then I cut 4x6 rectangles of the blue dot and the tree/snowman papers and used them on the top and bottom of the right side, then placed my photos. 

I used circles from the ephemera pack and the “together” puffy sticker on one of my 4x6 rectangles. A star and some Nuvo drops top that corner off. 

The blue 4x6 rectangle got the same treatment, but I used hexagons and the “Merry Christmas” puffy word sticker along with more Nuvo drops. 

I decided to go with more hexagons on the left side of my layout. I painted the “merry” cardstock cut gold to use as my title and added some puffy stars and stickers. 

And of course there’s a liberal sprinkling of Nuvo drops on this side of the layout too. I kind of love them. 

I used the triangles as banners and added journaling to the top and it feels finished. And I love it! Christmas layouts are not my favorite, but I loved putting this one together. The non-traditional colors and elements of this kit took me out of my grinchy ways and I had fun.
