{Horseback Riding} Using the October 2021 "Bliss" Premium Kit

Happy Friday, crafty friends! I can't believe we are already through the first full week of October. 2021 is flying by! 

This month's challenge is to create a two-page spread using the October kits. I pulled out the new "Bliss" Premium Kit, "Bliss" Patterned Paper Add On, and the "Bliss" Sequins Mix and created a fun two-page spread that was surprisingly easy to make! 

When I create two-page spreads, I usually use fewer embellishments so I don't take away from the photos or create an overly cluttered page. I used eight photos on this spread and three embellishment clusters, using similar elements. The Mintay "Harmony" cut-apart paper includes dozens of fun die-cuts that I used as the base of my embellishment clusters. 

After I adhered the background paper, photos, and cut-apart pieces, I added "Platinum", "Copper", and "Champagne" Finishing Touches, wood buttons (included in the kit), and a chipboard circle, also included in the kit, to the clusters. I made the title and subtitle using the included "Memo" Foiled Chipboard Thickers. 

The final step was to type and print the journaling onto white cardstock, cut into strips, and adhere to my page, then sprinkle silver Mica Mist over the finished layout.
