{Saguaro Hugger} Using July's 2021 Oasis Premium Kit

Hello there, this is my first layout using the "Oasis" Premium Kit for the month of July. I saw this Heidi Swapp Cactus paper from the care free line and I had the perfect photos to go with it.  Our family had photos taken back in October 2019 and my husband decided that he would hug the saguaro cactus. Krista our photographer got these shenanigans on film. When I saw our photos I could not help but laugh as this is so my husband.

I chose to use that beautiful cactus paper and mat it on some white cardstock. I cut 1/4 inch off of all sides to create this border around. 

I decided to create this little cluster of embellishments right above my photos. the love this view is from the sticker sheet in the kit as well as these gems. I used the Nuvo vintage drops in Black Road along with the Nuvo Drops in woodland green.

The story cardstock cut was perfect use for my title for the Saguaro Hugger I used the "Happy Life" Foam Thickers from my stash. 

I typed up my journaling and cut in strips and added that to this corner below my photos. 

The last thing I decided to use was this wood cactus along with the DMC floss that was included in the kit. I wrapped it around the cactus just a few times. To finish everything off I just added a few more gems and nuvo drops.
