{Slug Bug} Using the June 2021 "Breeze" Premium kit

 Hi Friends, Hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to start off this month with a few photos that were laying on my desk that I have been looking at for a while. My family and I have this on going slug bug game going on. My son loves to slug me when he sees a Volkswagen bug. I had a great Idea one day as we were going through the grocery store to find a slug bug and who ever has the car gets a pass so they can't receive the slug. I found this cool bug at our local grocery store and picked it up. Funny thing is that my first car was a 1978 Volkswagen Bug. It was baby blue kind of like this one. I remember that it had holes in the floor boards in the back seat and it was a stick shift. It was the perfect first car. 

I started off with this light pink ledger paper that was included in the kit. I knew that this paper was prefect because if the floral print that was on the back side. I wanted to fold this corner up to expose another piece of pattern paper from the kit. 

I used that pink cheetah print paper along with a strip of the black & white washi tape to create a layering piece under the collect memories instead of things card I had in my stash that matched perfectly. The Slug thickers are an al a cart item in the shop and the Bug are from the letter stickers in the kit. I added one of the fabric babbles and the record and remember sticker from the sticker book along with a few sequins scattered around.  

There were so many word strip stickers to choose from in the Heidi Swapp Care free sticker book. I had a hard time only choosing 2 of them. I love the rose gold color of these paperclips and they made a perfect embellishment to tie this cluster together. 

To finish my layout off I used another one of the rose gold paperclips, some sequins, and the fabric babbles.
