{The Good Stuff} using the "Treasured" Deluxe Theme Kit
Hello!!! Jennifer here, sharing my second layout for March using the
"Treasured"
Deluxe Theme Kit. This is an 11x8 1/2 landscape design layout.
These photos are 8 years old. I scrapped a couple of other ones in this same outfit but these needed something special. When I saw the "Treasured" Deluxe Theme Kit I just knew it was going to be perfect. My son loved his binky and probably had it way longer then he should have. I stuck it on this baby one day because we kept losing it. If he started crying we could tell him to go find "baby" and he would look around and his eyes would light up when he found it. This day it was sitting on the couch and he was getting tired. The journaling is on the pull out tag. I used my stash of ribbon on my tag and the twine from the packing of the kit. The tag is from the wood veeneer package.
I used the new to the shop Nuvo Mist to color the cutfile. I first cut off good. Then sprayed "the" and "stuff" a couple of times. I let it dry each time and soaked up the extra with a paper towel that had a texture on it and that texture transferred to the cutfile. In real life it looks textured. I then colored "good" black and added play foam behind the other words so it would be higher on the page when I reattached it. I also took a black pen and outlined the edges to make it pop.
For the two photos I used cutaparts left over from the heart paper that I cut into strips and backed each photo. I added a torn piece of paper to the smaller photo and added on "binky". I colored the baby word black. The background is small strips of paper placed across up an down and then two larger pieces placed across from side to side. This was a sketch from 30 days of sketches. I changed it up but the main design is from that sketch.
For final touches I added in the little die cuts, sequins and Nuvo drops in matching colors.
