{King Me Dad!} Using the September 2020 "Vivid" Premium Kit
Hi Friends, Stace here! I am here with my second layout using the September "Vivid" Premium Kit. I love that this kit definitely has the fall vibes going on but, also love it because it can be used for just about any layout. My husband and son love visiting the local library. I was able to get these great photos of them in action just hanging out playing checkers.
I started of by choosing this gray dot paper out of the kit. I chose 3 of the other patterns and cut them in to squares to go down the middle of the page. Once the blocks of paper and photos were added this layout came together pretty quickly.
I decided to stamp "live life in full color" on both sides of the pattern paper going down the middle. Using a strip of blue washi tape from my stash I created a shelf for my title to sit above so that it would stand out just a little bit. I used the Crate Paper "Magical Forest" Puffy Alpha Copper Foil Stickers for the "King me" part of my title and some white foam letter stickers from my stash for Dad.
I couldn't figure out if I wanted to add another strip of the blue washi to the bottom to mirror the top. I ended up taking a break and coming back to the page and decided on just a strip of blue cardstock from my stash and a piece of the yellow trim from the kit. The small embellishment cluster is just a strip of washi, and two small pieces out of the Amy Tan-"Late Afternoon" Ephemera Pack.
I love the "Tree Slice” cardstock cut that was included in the kit. I did cut a few of the rings off to make it smaller. I added one of the wood buttons and then a ticket from the ephemera pack. To finish off my layout I sprinkled some of the Vivid sequins mix around and just like that was done.
That wraps up my layout for today. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at the "Vivid" Premium Kit this month.
