{Show with a View} Layout Using January's Premium Kit: Relax

Hey everyone!  Sarah here with my first layout using the January premium kit.  I loved all the blue tones in the kit and they went perfectly with this set of photos I had ready to document.  

The ocean and water in the photos lent well to the blue papers and the pier in the background was perfect for using some of the woodgrain paper in the kit.  I added some aqua cardstock and blue glitter paper, both from my stash to add to the water feel of the page.

I used the woodgrain foam Thickers (my new favorite thing) from the kit and added in some October Afternoon Daily Flash letter stickers in navy from my stash.  I love how they compliment each other.  The "notes" journal card from the embellishment pack in the kit was perfect for journaling.

The blue marbled die cuts in the kit were perfect for complimenting the water theme here.  They help give it a flowing feel.  The October Afternoon letter stickers (from my stash) help with the navy color scheme happening.  I love how the gold word stickers from the kit helped finish off my embellishment clusters and helped fill in the awkward space on the title frame.  They are the perfect finishing touch!

Finally, the enamel dots and woven buttons from the kit helped me to finish off the layout with little splashes of color.  I love the buttons and how they include a number of blue and green hues.

I absolutely love how this layout turned out for my first design team project.  I'm so excited to keep using the kit this month, using one of my favorite colors: blue!  I hope you enjoy this layout and I will see you next time!
